These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of our mail-in services. By placing an order and sending an item to us, you agree to be bound by these Terms.
2. Service Description
We offer mail-in services for Mini Cooper key replacement, programming, and cutting. Upon receipt, we perform the agreed service and return the item to the customer.
3. Customer Responsibilities
By using our mail-in service, you agree to:
Ship only the item(s) listed in your order or confirmed via email
Package your item securely to avoid damage during transit
Include any required documentation (e.g., order number, contact info, service instructions)
Use a trackable shipping method
Ensure the item is clean, safe to handle, and free of hazardous materials
Ownership Verification Required: For all lost key orders, the customer must provide valid documentation proving ownership of the vehicle. Without proper documentation, we cannot provide services. Acceptable proof of ownership includes:
Vehicle title or registration matching the customer's name
Government-issued ID
Proof of insurance matching the customer's name and vehicle
Any other legally recognized proof of ownership
Our services depend on the customer providing a module with viable, unaltered data. If the module is damaged, altered, or corrupted in any way that prevents us from successfully completing our programming process, the full-service fee is still required and will not be refunded.
We reserve the right to cancel any order due to suspected fraud, incorrect pricing, or inability to fulfill the request.
4. Shipping Labels
If we provide a prepaid shipping label:
It is for one-time use only
The label must be used 30 days of issuance
You are responsible for dropping off the package at the appropriate carrier USPS
5. Liability
We are not responsible for:
Items lost or damaged during shipping to us
Shipping delays due to the carrier
Items sent to us without a confirmed order
Any damage due to improper packaging by the sender
We recommend insuring your shipment when sending valuable items.
6. Service Timeline
Service turnaround times are estimates and begin once we receive your item. We will notify you of delays due to unexpected issues or additional required work.
7. Return Shipping
We return items using USPS with tracking. Optional insurance may be added at the customer’s expense upon request.
8. Mini Cooper Key Replacement is not responsible for issues caused by pre-existing problems with your vehicle’s immobilizer system, electrical components, or data corruption in the module provided by the customer.
If the module supplied by the customer is damaged, altered, or contains corrupted data, our service fee is still required, and no refunds will be provided.
In no event shall minicooper-keyreplacement.com be liable for any indirect, incidental, punitive, or consequential damages arising from the use of our products or services.
9. Payment
All service fees must be paid in full before we return your item. Invoices will be sent via email.

No Refunds: Due to the precise nature of our key programming process, all sales are final once the key has been shipped.
90-Day Warranty: If a key fails within 90 days of delivery, it may be returned for inspection. If the issue is not due to neglect, water damage, or misuse, we will replace the key at no charge.
The customer is responsible for return shipping costs, while minicooper-keyreplacement.com will cover the shipping of an approved replacement.

We are not liable for:
Pre-existing damage
Unauthorized modifications
Items received in unusable or irreparable condition
12. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of Ohio, without regard to conflict of law principles.
