Return Policy for Mail-In Services

1. Overview

Because we provide a service performed on a customer-owned item, traditional product returns do not apply. However, we are committed to customer satisfaction and offer the following policies regarding service issues or concerns.

2. Services Are Non-Returnable

We do not accept returns of serviced items once the work has been completed and returned to the customer.

All sales of labor, diagnostics, and services are final.

3. Damaged or Lost Return Shipments

If your serviced item arrives damaged or is lost during return shipping:

  • Contact us within 3 business days of receiving the package (or expected delivery).

  • We will assist in filing a claim with the shipping carrier (if the package was insured).

  • Our liability is limited to the amount of insurance selected (if applicable).

4. Dissatisfaction with Work Performed

If you are not satisfied with the service:

  • Contact us at support@minicooper-keyreplacement.com within 7 days of receiving your item to file a claim

  • We may offer:

    • A free correction or adjustment

    • Partial refund (case-by-case)

    • Re-service of the item (at our discretion)

  • We do not refund service charges for:

    • Pre-existing issues

    • Problems not reproducible or disclosed

    • Work performed as requested

5. Warranty (If Applicable)

We provide 90-day warranty for our keys. They do require a key inspection so you will need to mail us back your key, customer must pay for shipping.

  • Warranty claims must be submitted within the warranty period

  • Warranty covers the original work performed only

  • It does not cover:

    • New, unrelated issues

    • Physical damage after return

    • Misuse or tampering

If we find there is an issue related to the key programming, we will provide a key replacement at no additional cost.

6. Cancellations

  • Orders may be canceled prior to the item being received with a 10% cancellation fee, due to preprinted shipping label being created.

  • If we have already received your item and begun work, a cancellation fee may apply (or the full charge, if work is complete)
